Lincoln Children's Zoo - 2009

We spent a lot of time at the Lincoln Children's Zoo this last year (Thanks again to Dave and Helen Brooks)! Sherman and Eliza love the zoo and get excited every time we go. It's a great zoo because it is big enough, yet small enough. We usually spend about 2 hours when we go and have a great time. Below are some of my favorite pictures from our Zoo trips last year.

The Eagle's Nest - Always a favorite.

Eliza loves this white peacock and will stand and watch it forever.

Waiting for a train ride.

They had a new play set last year that the kids just loved. Eliza loved hanging from the monkey bars.
We also went with friends. Anna and Sophie joined us on this very hot June day. The kids loved having a friend along.

Outside the Butterfly House - the caterpillar is always a favorite stop.

Daddy joined us one afternoon at the Zoo. The kids loved showing him all of their favorite things.

They love climbing on the giant spiderweb.

The Tunnel

Our last trip to the zoo was on Winter Weekend in December. Amy and Eric Frasure were visiting from North Dakota and we brought along Dustin and Jared Searle. We had a great time even though it was pretty cold.

Sherman and Eliza love the Otters and they always have to give the Otter statue a hug.

Sherman and Dustin - Best Buddies.
