January 2010 - Recap

January was kind of a blur as I was in the blah stage of pregnancy, but here are a few pictures to recap the month.

My little Pirate-Detective.

Cowboy Sherman.
Grandpa Sherman would be proud of how Sherman has learned to ride his little horse around the house. He has it down to an art and is quite fast as he cruises up and down the hall and around the living room.

Eliza and Mark took a Parent/Child swim class for six weeks in January and February. Eliza had a blast. It was great for her and Mark to have some good quality time together. Eliza loved being in the water. Sherman and I watched from the sidelines for a few of the classes. Sherman had a hard time watching and not participating. I told him it was good for him to learn a bit of patience while we waited. He told me, "I am not a patient man like my Daddy."

Waiting and Watching.

Having a great time in the pool.

Reaching for a toy during playtime.

Look at those blue lips. Mark said the pool was always quite cold. It didn't seem to phase Eliza much. She had a great time and loved being with her Dad.

After one session, they had a family swim time. Sherman was sooooo excited he could hardly wait. He also loved showing off his new Thomas swimsuit.

For Family Home Evening one night the kids wanted to play Twister with Daddy. They had a great time. As you can see from the pictures we did not play with real strict rules. This is a great game for helping kids learn left and right.
