Walks and Wagon Rides

The weather has been pretty nice here in Lincoln the last couple weeks, excluding the last couple of days which have been rainy and cold. We have been on several walks and have enjoyed using the wagon once again. Here is a picture from the first wagon ride this year.

Sherman's First Primary Activity - March 21, 2009

Sherman participated in his first Primary Activity in March. The focus was "Putting on the whole armour of God". He had a great time and came home with some pretty cute little armour.

Eliza was pretty excited about the armour also and Sherman was nice enough to let her have a turn wearing it!

Tractor Pull Around at UNL - April 25, 2009

On Saturday, I had several church meetings to attend so Mark had the kids all day. The UNL Tractor Museum had their annual tractor pull around going on so this made for the perfect activity for him and the kids. It was a bit chilly, but they had a great time.

The kids enjoyed seeing all of the antique tractors drive around the Tractor testing track. They also had some small toy tractors that Sherman and Eliza really enjoyed playing on. Below are a few pictures...

"I Love My Cups" and "Too Tired to Eat"

The other day Eliza insisted on having her Shake-a-shake (aka - milk), her water, and juice cup all at the same time. It was lunch time so I really didn't care. I was busy getting lunch when I heard a little voice say "I Love My Cups!" I turned around and she was hugging all three. I ran to get the camera and she gladly posed for this adorable photo. Eliza has also started cuddling with her water cup in bed now during nap time and nighttime. She no longer wants her stuffed animals - just the water cup. I guess she really loves them.


Tonight at dinner Sherman kept telling us he was "Too Tired to Eat". I guess he was because here he is asleep, halfway through dinner. Cute, huh!? He and Eliza have battled the Stomach Flu again this past week and a half. Sherman got sick again tonight - hopefully he is on the tail end of this and we can be done with illnesses for a while!
