December 11-12, 2008
We arrived in St. Louis Thursday evening at our friends, Greg and Megan Tilton's. We enjoyed a delicious home cooked dinner, prepared by Megan (She is a very talented cook!) and enjoyed visiting for quite a while. Sherman and Eliza enjoyed playing with their children, Ellie and Jack, and the dog (I can't remember his name). The dog part was quite a surprise since the last time we visited, Sherman was terrified of the dog and the Tilton's graciously kept him behind closed doors. This time, both Sherman and Eliza both enjoyed chasing the dog everywhere.
Friday morning, Mark had the chance to go for a run with Greg before he left for work. Mark and Greg did quite a bit of running together when we lived in Michigan and even ran the Indianapolis Marathon together. Mark had hopes of getting back into running this winter, but unfortunately broke his big toe in January at a Youth activity and has had to put the running on hold again.
The kids also had a bit of playtime Friday morning while we stayed with the kids so Megan could go to an appointment she had. After lunch we loaded up and headed home. It was a short visit with the Tilton Family but very enjoyable. We are grateful for our friendship with them and hope to have many more visits!
